Word for Wednesday December 21.

“The voice of my beloved! Behold, he comes, leaping
upon the mountains, bounding over the hills . . . My beloved speaks and says to me: “Arise, my
love, my dove, my fair one, and come away; for behold, the winter is past, the rain is over and
gone. Song of Solomon 2:8, 10-11. St. Catherine of Sienna said, “Everything comes from love;
all is ordained for the salvation of man. God does nothing without this goal in mind.” Let us
pray, Lord Jesus, You are the Beloved of all humanity. You are my Beloved who chooses to
scale the mountains and hills to be mine. You speak; You call me; You rejoice to take me beyond the ordinary; for worldly engagements shall one day end. You desire to embrace me in Your Divine love which leads into eternity. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
