side of the temple. This water flows down…and empties into the sea, the salt waters, which it
makes fresh…Fruit trees of every kind shall grow…for they shall be watered from the flow from
the sanctuary.” Ezekiel 47:1, 8, 12. Pope St. John Paul II said, “The Cross of Christ has become a
source from which flow rivers of living water.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, Your body is the new
temple, from which flows rivers of living water. We thank You for Your word, which always
