“Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these
commandments and teaches others to do so, will be called the least in the kingdom of heaven.
But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called the greatest in the kingdom
of heaven.” Matthew 5:19. St. Augustine said, “It is not that we keep His commandments first
and that then He loves but that He loves us and then we keep His commandments. This is that
grace which is revealed to the humble but hidden from the proud.” Let us pray, My God, You
have called us to be witnesses, and to live as examples for others to learn of You. Grant us this

grace, to live as Christians that others may see the good that we do and give glory to You. Amen.
