Word for Friday June 16. Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

“Come to me all you labor and are burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves.” Matthew 11:28-29. St.
Augustine said, “Lord, help me to live this day, quietly, easily. To lean upon Your great strength,
trustfully, restfully. To wait for the unfolding of Your will, patiently, serenely. To meet others,
peacefully, joyously. To face tomorrow, confidently, courageously.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, let
us remember that Your heart is our sanctuary. When we remain in You, our burden is lightened,
and our trust grows that You indeed will take care of everything. May our hearts be one with
yours. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
