Word for Saturday June 17. The Immaculate Heart of Mary.

“His mother said to him “Son, why have you done this? Your father and I have been looking for you with great anxiety. And he said to them “Why were you looking for me, did you not know I that I must be in my Father’s house? But they did not understand…and his mother kept all these things in her heart.” Luke 2:48-51. St. Augustine said, “Mary heard God’s word and kept it, and so she is blessed. She kept God’s truth in her mind, a nobler thing that carrying his body in her womb.” Let us pray, God our Father, may we come to have a heart like Mary our Mother. May we treasure the things of God in our hearts. May we ponder and glorify the Lord, loving him in all his people. We ask this through the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be
blessed. Larry.
