Word for Thursday December 7.

“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the flood came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:24-25. St. Joseph Marello said, “St. Joseph did not do extraordinary things, but rather by the constant practice of the ordinary and common virtues, he attained that sanctity which elevates him above all other saints.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, when we are doers rather than hearers of Your Word; You become the rock upon which we build our life. Give us the grace to remain hearers and doers of whatever You demand of us that we may never be moved for solid we are; firmly found on You. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
