“Rising very early before dawn, He left and went off to a deserted place, where He prayed. Simon and those who were with him pursued him and on finding him said ‘Everyone is looking for you’. He told them ‘Let us go on to the nearby villages that I may preach there also. For this purpose have I come.” Mark 1:35-38. St. Augustine said, “Whether we realize it or not, prayer is the encounter of God’s thirst and ours.”
Let us pray, My Jesus, Son of God, as You lived on earth in Your humanity, prayer was Your strength. Communing with Your Father was essential, for it was His will You sought, and His love that filled You. Teach us Lord, to do as You did, to make time to commune with You, our Life. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
