“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.”Matthew 5:23-24. Nelson Mandela said, “In the end, reconciliation is a spiritual process, which requires more than just a legal framework. It has to happen in the hearts and minds of people.”
Let us pray, God Our Father, may this Lent be a time of reconciliation among families and strangers alike. Reveal to us our part, where we hold grudges and make judgments based on prejudice and fear. Bring us healing within, and courage to make amends where needed. In gratitude we pray, Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
