Word for Saturday March 23.

So the chief priests and the Pharisees convened the Sanhedrin and said ‘What are we going to do? This man is performing many signs. If we leave him alone, all will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away our land and our nation’…So from that day on, they planned to kill Him.” John 11:47-48, 53. St. Paul of the Cross said, “The Passion of Jesus is a sea of sorrows, but it is also an ocean of love.”

Let us pray, God our Father, as we come closer to Holy Week, help us to enter into the passion of Your Son. Help us to remember, to lay aside the cost, to trust You will provide. May our hearts open to those around us, may we work to relieve their suffering, and in this way be closer to Jesus Our Lord in His suffering. Amen. Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
