“Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman,
behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home.” John 19:25-27. St. Josemaria Escriva said, “Love Our Lady, and she will obtain abundant grace to help you conquer in your daily struggle…When you see the storm coming, if you seek safety in that firm refuge, which is Mary, there will be no danger of your wavering or going down.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, we thank You for the gift of Your Mother to be the Mother of Your Church. May we take her to all our homes beginning with our hearts. May she intercede for us for all the graces we need to live and shine as true Christians. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
