Word for Tuesday August 13.

“At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them, and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom
of heaven.” Matthew 18:1-4. St. Teresa of Avila said, “Humility, however deep it may be does not trouble or disturb the soul; it is accompanied by peace and joy…far from disturbing the soul or depressing it, humility enlarges it, and makes it fit to serve God better.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, You credit simplicity, lowliness, genuineness and humility as prerequisites to greatness.
Immerse our hearts in Your precious blood that we may be purified of all our pride and arrogance before You and before others that we may embrace the greatness You desire and expect. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
