Word for Thursday September 26. Sts. Cosmas and Damian.

“All streams run to the sea, but the sea is not full; to the place where the streams flow, there they flow again. All things are full of weariness; a man cannot utter it; the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with
hearing. What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done; and there is nothing new under the sun.” Ecclesiastes 1:7-9. St. Therese of Lisieux said, “The sun’s light that plays on the cedar trees, plays on each tiny flower as if it were the only one in existence; and in the same way, Our Lord takes a special interest in each soul.”

Let us pray, Loving Father, we bless You for creating nature and giving it to us. It is a glorious cycle which renews what was for the benefit of humanity. Keep us from being vain in our ways thinking we can outdo You who is the Source of all that is. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
