Word for Thursday October 17 St. Ignatius of Antioch, Bishop and Martyr.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blest us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens, as he chose us in him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy…before
him…for adoption to himself through Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 1:3-5. St. Francis de Sales said,
“The presence of God,” means a lively attentive realization of His presence – God is everywhere,
in all places, in all things, in all people.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, You are no distant God, with a stern brow and hard to love. Rather You are the most tender-hearted, closer than our breath. You gave us Jesus, that in Him, we will never be parted from You. Help us see, You are truly the ground of our being, we are one with You. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed.
Larry.
