Word for Saturday November 23. St. Clement

I, St. Columban. “Blest be the Lord, my rock, who trains my hands for battle, who prepares my fingers for war. He is my merciful love, my fortress; he is my stronghold, my savior, my shield in whom I take refuge. He brings peoples under my rule. To you, O God, will I sing a new song; I will play on the ten-stringed harp to you who give kings their victory, who set David your servant free from the evil sword.” Psalm 144:1, 2, 9-10. St. Ignatius of Loyola said, “Few souls understand what God would accomplish in them if they were to abandon themselves entirely to Him, and if they were to allow His grace to mold them accordingly.”

Let us pray, God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit; You who is Trinity, we thank You for the wonderful things You are to us; the great things You do for us; the many ways You love, care and uplift us!! You are worthy of all the names: Rock, Merciful Love,
Fortress, Stronghold, Savior, Shield and so on. You surely deserve a new song every day that we live. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
