Word for Thursday December 5. St. Dalmatius, Bishop.

“At that time: Jesus said to his disciples, “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he
who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock.” Matthew 7:21, 24-25. St. Mother Teresa said, “Faith in action is love, and love in action is service. By transforming that faith into living acts of love, we put ourselves in contact with God Himself, with Jesus Our Lord.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, You await action but not verbiage. But as they say, “It is easier said than done!” Redeem us from mere lip service to real doing of Your word. May our actions speak louder than words. May Your Spirit lead us
always in the right direction. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
