Word for Friday December 6. St. Nicholas.

“At that time: As Jesus passed on, two blind men followed him, crying aloud, “Have mercy on us, Son of David.” When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” And their eyes were opened.” Matthew 9:27-30a. St. Francis Xavier said, “It is not the actual physical exertion that counts towards one’s progress, nor the nature of the task, but by
the spirit of faith with which it is undertaken.”

Let us pray, Father, Your Son asks the two blind men, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” It is our faith in Jesus which unlocks the miracles. Father, increase my faith in Your Son that many more of my prayers may be realized through Him. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
