“Jesus said to the man with the withered hand ‘Come up here before us.’ Then he said to the Pharisees ‘Is it lawful to do goodon the Sabbath or to do evil, to save life rather than destroy it?’ But they remained silent. Looking around at them with anger, and grieved at their hardness of heart, Jesus said to the man,‘Stretch out your hand’…and his hand was restored.” Mark 3:3-5. Charles Dickens said, “Have a heart that never hardens, and a temper that never tires, and a touch that never hurts.”
Let us pray, My God, You enter by way of the heart. When our hearts are hardened, we grieve You and block the way of Your healing love. May we open ourselves to You today Lord Jesus, letting You have Your way. May Your love plunder our hearts, renewing us in joy and forgiveness. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
