Trust in God, and he will help you; hope in him, and he will make your ways straight. Stay in fear of him, and grow old in him.” Sirach 2:4-6. St. Francis de Sales said, “He will either shield you from suffering or will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginations.”

Let us pray, Loving Father when things are going well the path is easy; but suffering and humiliation is hard and painful.
