“In those days: From Mount Hor the Hebrews set out by the way to the Red Sea, to go around the land of Edom; and the people became impatient on
the way. And the people spoke against God and against Moses, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no food and no water, and we loathe this worthless food.” Numbers 21:4-5. St. JoseMaria Escriva said, “Understand this well – there is something holy, something divine hidden in the most ordinary situations, and it is up to each one of you to discover it.”
Let us pray, Loving Father, many things go wrong when we lose our cool, become impatient and disgusting. We are sorry for all the times we have failed to be patient; for the times we have wrongly rushed to do things without thought and due consideration. Give us the grace to adopt the virtue of patience; patience with ourselves and patience with others. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
