“In those days: Peter and John were going up to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a man lame from birth was being carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple . . . And he fixed his attention upon them, expecting to receive something from them. But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but I give you what I have; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and raised him up; and immediately his feet and ankles were made strong.” Acts 3:1-2a, 5-7. Fr. Tom McDermott, OP said, “The more we allow the Holy
Spirit to conform us to the humanity of Christ, the more Christ infuses us with his divinity.”
Let us pray, Father God, Peter and John had no silver nor gold but “gave what they had!” Your Son had empowered them with the Holy Spirit and that Holy Spirit is a Healing Power; and He healed the man lame from birth. May the Holy Spirit work every day in our lives bringing us inspiration, healing and fulfillment as we journey back to You our God. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
