Word for Thursday July 10. St. Amelia.

“I am Joseph he said to his brothers…Come closer to me he told his brothers. When they had done so he said ‘I am your brother Joseph whom you
once sold into Egypt. But now do not be distressed, and do not reproach yourselves for having sold me here. It was really for the sake of saving lives that God sent me here ahead of you.” Genesis 45:3-5. Saint Francis de Sales said, Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace, then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and imaginings.”

Let us pray My God, we see that You bring goodness out of everything, even our sins. We cannot see Your plan in full, but all is in Your hands. We repent of all our wrongdoing and ask Your grace to run to You in trust and love, every time we fall. We are Yours forever. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
