“As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it saying, ‘If this day you only knew what makes for peace – but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on every side.” Luke 19:41-43. St. Pope John Paul II said, “When we go before Jesus in the blessed Sacrament, we represent the one in the world who is in most need of God’s mercy.”
Let us pray, Lord God, even today You weep for Your children, so many have turned away, preferring to believe in nothing instead of in an all-powerful, all loving God. We will intercede for others and so console Your Sacred Heart. Pour out Your mercy Lord, and may it reach to the farthest ends of the earth. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
