“At that time: The rulers scoffed at Jesus, saying, “He saved others; let him save himself, if he is the Christ of God, his Chose One!” . . . One of the criminals who were hanged railed at him, saying, “Are you not the Christ? Save yourself and us!” But the other rebuked him, saying, “Do you not fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? . . . And he said,“ Jesus, remember me when you come in your kingly power.” And he said, to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” Luke 23:35, 39-40, 42-43. St. Pope John Paul II said, “Christ Jesus, the King of the universe, is the center of history and of the cosmos. In Him, every human heart finds its true greatness, peace, and joy.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, Your throne is the Cross, this is Your victory; a victory of love, not arrogance or violence. Lord You are a forgiving God, King of the Universe! May each soul declare You King, King of love; may every sinner experience Your forgiveness that one day all may join You in paradise. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
