Word for Friday December 5. St. Sabas the Sanctified.

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is my life’s refuge; of whom should I be afraid? One thing I ask of the Lord; this I seek: to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, that I may gaze on the loveliness of the Lord and contemplate his temple.” Psalm 27:1,4. St. Teresa of Calcutta said “Do not be afraid. Jesus is always with you.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we have deep desires, of seeing You face to face. But in this time, as we live our lives, help us to be faithful, doing the work of service, being present to those around us. Though our hearts may be seeking heaven, may our hands work faithfully, and may our eyes hold Your love for all those we serve. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
