“When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy; and going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshipped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.” Matthew 2:10-11. St. Francis said, “You are holy, Lord, the only God, You do wonders. You are light in the darkness, and in You the night is no longer night.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, through the star You rose and shone, revealing Yourself as the Lord and Savior of humanity. You dispersed the darkness that had covered the human race for centuries. We thank You for coming close to us, even to the depths of our being, so that You may heal us from the very foundation. May we not rebel against You, but rather welcome You and receive You as our King and Lord. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
