“While Jesus was in one of the cities, there came a man full of leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” And immediately the leprosy left him.” Luke 5:12-13. St. Teresa of Ávila said, “Let nothing disturb you, let nothing frighten you, all things are passing; God never changes. Patience obtains all things. Whoever has God lacks nothing; God alone suffices.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, what You did at the founding of Your Church, do again in our time and in our very lives. As You healed the leper with a word, speak Your life-giving word into every troubled area of our lives. Enter all our places of need, pain, and waiting, and command healing, renewal, and hope. Say the word, Lord, and let our situations be transformed by the power of Your word. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
