Word for Saturday March 7. Sts. Perpetua and Felicity, Martyrs.

“Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity and passing over transgression for the remnant of his inheritance? He does not retain his anger for ever because he delights in mercy. He will again have compassion upon us, he will tread our iniquities under foot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. You will show faithfulness to Jacob and mercy to Abraham, as you have sworn to our fathers from the days of old.” Micah 7:18-20. St. Leonard of Port Maurice said, “God waits for us with open arms; His mercy is ready to forgive even the greatest sins.”

Let us pray, Father, You are the forgiving Father of the prodigal son, who squandered all Your blessings. You are a God like no other, delighting in mercy and compassion, casting aside all our transgressions and sins. May we truly repent and receive Your embrace, welcomed into Your everlasting love. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
