Word for Thursday March 12. St. Maximilian of Tebessa, Martyr. “

Come let us bow down and worship; let us kneel before the Lord who made us. For he is our God and we are the people he shepherds, the flock he guides. Oh that today you would hear his voice: ‘Harden not your hearts as at Meribah, as in the day of Massah in the desert; Where your fathers tempted me though they had seen my works.” Psalm 95:6-9. St. John of the Cross said, “To be taken with love for a soul, God does not look on its greatness, but on the greatness of its humility.”

Let us pray, Lord God, today is a day for humbling ourselves, for hearing your voice within. With your grace, may we bow down low, and wait upon you. We silence our complaining Lord, and instead listen – for your desires, your wants. May you break our hearts of stone and give us hearts for
love alone. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
