Word for Sunday December 26th Feast of the Holy Family. “Thinking that Jesus was in the caravan, they journeyed for a day…but not finding him, they returned to Jerusalem to look for him…After three days they found him, sitting in the midst of the teachers…When his parents saw him, they were astonished.” Luke 2:44-46, 48. St. John Vianney said, “The Holy Spirit leads us like a mother. He leads His child by the hand . . . as a sighted person leads a blind person.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, even Joseph and Mary didn’t understand all that You did. God led them often with ordinary light, not extraordinary vision. Help us as we too struggle to find You in the ordinary daily experiences of our lives.
