Word for Thursday December 30th. “There was a prophetess Anna, daughter of Phanuel…

“There was a prophetess Anna, daughter of Phanuel…she never left the temple, but worshipped night and day with fasting and prayer.  And coming forward at that time, she gave thanks to God, and spoke about the child (Jesus).” Luke 2:36-38. St. Maximilian Kolbe said, “God sends us friends to be our firm support in the whirlpool of struggle. In the company of friends we will find strength to attain our sublime ideal.” Let us pray, Heavenly Father, You have blessed us with people of prayer throughout the ages, many unknown to us, who support us and help lead us to You.

We thank You for the sacrifices they have made, that we have benefited from all our lives. Amen.

“Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
