Word for Saturday February 5th. “O Lord my God, you have made your servant king . . . I am but a little child; I do not know how to go out or come in. And your servant is in the midst of your people . . . a great people. . . Give to your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern our people, that I may discern between good and evil…” 1 Kings 1:7-9. St. Augustine said, “Do you wish to rise? Begin by descending. You plan a tower that will pierce the clouds? Lay first the foundation of humility.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus Christ, we are limited in very many ways: there is no time, we are who we must be or what are meant to be in the various circumstances of our life. Send us Your Holy Spirit to fill the gaps in our intelligence and plans, that You may never miss the glory from us Your creatures. Amen.
“Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
