It happened that there was a man full of leprosy in one of the towns where Jesus was; and when he saw Jesus, he fell prostrate, pleaded with him and said, ‘Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.’ Jesus stretched out his hand, touched him and said, ‘I do will it, be made clean.’ And the leprosy left him immediately.” Luke 5:12-13. St John of the Cross said, “Live in faith and hope, though it be in darkness, for in this darkness God protects the soul. Cast your care upon God for you are His and He will not forget you. Do not think that He is leaving you alone, for that would be to wrong Him.” Let us pray, Heavenly Father, this man cried out for healing with his whole being, and Jesus made him whole. We ask this grace Father, to ask for healing from our hearts. We can be fearful, unwilling to let go of our habits, our addictions, afraid to ask for what we need. May we surrender, humble ourselves and receive healing from Jesus. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
