Word for Friday after Epiphany, January 7th 2022. “There came a man full of leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, “Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.” And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, “I will; be clean.” Luke 5:12-13. St. Padre Pio said, “We must always have courage, and if some spiritual distress comes upon us, let us run to the feet of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and we will undoubtedly regain our strength.” Let us pray, Lord Jesus, nothing is outside Your power! Whatever we are covered with can go away by Your word. Indeed, one who has You has life eternal. Accept that we may have You so that what You created to be ours may be always ours.
