The Jews quarreled among themselves, saying, ‘How can this man give us His flesh to eat?’ Jesus said to them ‘Amen, amen I say to you, unless you eat the Flesh of the Son of Man and drink his Blood, you do not have life within you…For my Flesh is true food and my Blood is true drink…The one who feeds on me will have life because of me.”John 6:52-53, 55-57. Tertullian said, “The flesh feeds on the Body and Blood of Christ that the soul likewise may be filled with God.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, many have fallen away, who have been given the truth of Your Real Presence in the Eucharist. Look with mercy upon us, pour out extraordinary graces in this time, bringing conversions, holiness and joy. Seek out Your flock, bring home those who are lost, for we are all Your children.
