Word for Friday June 28.

“When Jesus came down from the mountain, great crowds followed him. And then a leper approached and did him homage and said, ‘Lord, if you wish, you can make me clean.’ He stretched out his hand and touched him and said ‘I do will it, be made clean.’ His leprosy was cleansed immediately.” Matthew 8:1-3. St. Sharbel said, “God knows our
whole being. Those who ask for His grace with confidence will not be disappointed. Ask Him to give you all you need.”

Let us pray, Lord God, may we come to You boldly today, asking for forgiveness and healing. We look not at our sins and weaknesses, which can only weigh us down. We look at instead at You, who are not put off by our sins. Rather You hurry to make us well when we turn to You with our hearts humbled, ready to receive Your healing love. We are full of gratitude. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
