Word for Friday March 11th.

“Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there recall that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there at the altar, go first and be reconciled with your brother, and then come and offer your gift.” Matthew 5:23-24. St. John Fisher (1469-1535). Bishop and Martyr said, “A good man is not a perfect man: A good man is an honest man, faithful and unhesitatingly responsive to the voice of God in his life.” Let us pray, My God, grant us a good confession this Lent.  Help us to listen to Your call to repentance. May we be honest with You and with ourselves, and let Your spirit thoroughly wash us, inside and out. Then may we offer You a sacrifice of praise. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
