“Jesus said to his disciples ‘Amen, amen I say to you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices; you will grieve, but your grief will become joy…I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice…and no one will take away your joy from you…whatever you ask the Father in my name, he will give you.” John 16:20,22-23. Pierre Teihard de Chardin said, “We who are Christians have a further cause for joy: like Jesus, we know that we are loved by God our Father. This love transforms our lives and fills us with joy . . . He came to teach us what it means to be fully happy and fully human.”
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we ask for grace upon grace today, that we may live in the joy of your Son – at work, at home, at rest, with family, and when we are alone. May the joy of Jesus Christ be our strength. May it be light and truth in a world darkened by our selfish ways. We thank you loving Father for answering our prayer. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
