Word for Friday May 6th

“For my Flesh is true food, and my Blood is true drink. Whoever eats my Flesh and drinks my Blood remains in me and I in him.  Just as the living Father sent me, and I have life because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will have life because of me.” John 6:55-57. Pope St. John Paul II said, “This is the wonderful truth, my dear friends: the Word, which became flesh two thousand years ago, is present today in the Eucharist.” Let us pray, My Jesus, You couldn’t bear to be parted from us. Rather You chose to remain united to us in the simple and profound way of the Eucharist.  May we receive You often, and keep company with You at the tabernacle as we intercede for the world. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
