Word for Friday November 1. Solemnity of All Saints.

“Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:4-8.
Oscar Wilde said, ‘Every saint has a past and every sinner has a future. For the Bible quotes, ‘I
could do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, we thank You for the saints in heaven, faithful witnesses praying for us, cheering us on. They show us the way to live, by their humility, pure love, and actions of charity towards all. Dear saints of heaven, intercede for us, that we may come to love God and others as You do. Amen. “Let yourlight shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
