Word for Friday November 15. St. Albert the Great, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.

“He who fears the Lord will do this; he who is practiced in the law will come to wisdom. Mother like she will meet him, like a young bride she will embrace him; nourish him with the bread of understanding and give him the water of learning to drink. He will lean upon her and not fall.” Sirach 15:1-3. St. Elizabeth of the Trinity said, “Receive every trial, every annoyance, every lack of courtesy in the light that springs from the Cross; that is how we please God, how we advance in the ways of love.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, help us to seek You daily, that your wisdom will fill our minds and hearts. May we grow in understanding the more we surrender our lives to You. May we learn to lean upon You and never fall. Through the intercession of St. Albert the Great
we pray. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
