Word for Friday October 15th. “I tell you, my friends, do not fear those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will warn you whom to fear: fear him who, after he has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear him!” Luke 12:4-5. St. Luigi Guanella said, “There is need of living well, but there is even more need of dying well, especially today, where people think only of enjoyment here on earth, rejecting eternity.” Let us pray, Father, as St. Augustine said, you have created us for Yourself and our hearts are restless until they rest in You. It is You we have to fear for if we were to miss heaven, for eternity, we would miss everything. Give us the grace to work for heaven every moment of our life. Amen.

“Let your light shine!!” Matthew 5:16.

Be blessed. Larry.
