Word for Monday August 22 Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Memorial of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. “Woe to you scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites.  You lock the kingdom of heaven before men, and do not enter yourselves, nor do you allow entrance to those trying to enter.” Matthew 23:13-14. St. Mother Theresa of Calcutta said, “Some people come into our life as blessings. Some come in your life as lessons.” Let us pray, Lord, may we bear witness to You and open wide our hearts that others will see You and long for You.  May even our faults bear witness Lord, in Your mercy, as we humble ourselves in repentance. Mary, Queen of Heaven and Earth, pray for us. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry
