Word for Monday January 24th Memorial St. Francis de Sales. “Jesus began to speak to them in parables…if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.” Mark3:23-25. St. Francis de Sales said, “A quarrel between friends when made up, adds a new tie to friendship.” Let us pray, Father God, we are members of one another, members of Christ’s body. Remind us daily that we are one, that we are to lift up one another, not tear each other down.
