“The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said of Jesus, “He is possessed by Beelzebul, and by the prince of demons.” And he called them to him, and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house is divided against itself, that
house will not be able to stand.” Mark 3:22-25. St. Angela Merici said, “You will accomplish more with kind words and a courteous manner than by anger or sharp rebuke, which should never be used except in necessity.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, sometimes we, like the scribes, say all sorts ugly things against our brothers and sisters; words bring divisions between us. You came to call us to unity and yet we militate against it by our irresponsible words. Give us Your Spirit that He may fill us with only words of wisdom which build. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Blessings. Larry.
