Word for Monday June 12.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed
are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.” Matthew 5:7-8. Pope Francis said, “Mercy is the
very foundation of the Church’s life . . . The Church’s very credibility is seen in how she shows
merciful and compassionate love . . . Mercy is the force that reawakens us to new life and instills
in us the courage to look to the future with hope.” Let us pray, My Jesus, help us see – that to
receive Your mercy, as the very air we breathe, will make us merciful for others. May Your
mercy humble us, and make us pure in heart, that we shall see You face to face. Amen. “Let your
light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
