“Naaman went away angry saying ‘I thought he would surely come out and stand there to invoke the Lord his God’…But his servants came up and reasoned with him ‘If the prophet had told you to do something extraordinary, would you not have done it? All the more now since he said to you ‘Wash and be clean’ should you do as he said.” 2 Kings 5:11,13. St. Augustine said, “You aspire to great things? Begin with little ones.”
Let us pray, Lord God, most always You give us the simplest things to do. Most of us won’t be facing martyrdom today, but You may ask us to visit someone, or clean the bathroom, or stop at Church for a small visit. Help us to do the simplest things with love, in Your peace. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
