Word for Monday November 20

“As Jesus drew near to Jericho, a blind man was sitting by the roadside begging . . . They told him, “Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.” And he cried, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me . . . And Jesus stopped, and commanded him to be brought to him; and . . . he asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” He said, “Lord, let me receive my sight.” And Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight, your faith has made you well.” Luke 18:35-38, 40-41. St. Mary MacKillop said, “When I want something very much, I thank God beforehand, for I feel God will certainly grant what He has been thanked for.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus, give me the faith to cry out to You my needs, the needs of my people and those of my Church. You are a Provident God! Increase my faith. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
