“Brethren: If there is any encouragement in Christ, any incentive of love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfishness or conceit, but in humility count others better than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interest, but also to the interests of others.” Philippians 2:1-4. St. Ignatius of Loyola said, “Lord teach me to be generous. Teach me to serve as you deserve.”
Let us pray, Lord Jesus, there are so many things which divide Your people, Your Church. But You call us to be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. The best example is You, Your Father and the Holy Spirit. Save us from any form of selfishness; may the people You have created, redeemed and empowered live as one that they may live mindful of the presence of others and their interests too. Amen.
“Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
