Word for Monday of Holy Week, March 30. St. Leonard.

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my Spirit upon him, he will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry or lift up his voice, or make it heard in the street; a bruised reed he will or break, and a dimly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice. He will not fail or be discouraged till he has established justice in the earth; and the islands wait for his law.” Isaiah 42:1-4. St. Thérèse of Lisieux said, Christ is a Master of humility and patience; He calls you not to great deeds, but to great love.”

Let us pray, Lord Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, You are the chosen and beloved Servant in whom the Father delights. Gentle and humble, You bring justice without harshness, You do not break the bruised reed or quench the smoldering wick. Transform us into Your likeness, that we may become faithful and compassionate servants like You. Amen. “Let your light shine!!” Be blessed. Larry.
