“Looking around at them all Jesus then said to him, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ He then did so and his hand was restored.  But they became enraged, and discussed together what they might do to Jesus.” Luke 6:10-11. St. Augustine said, “When I seek you, my God, I seek a blessed life. I shall seek you, so that my soul may live.” Let us pray, Lord even today, people are enraged at the thought of You, Our God, bringing truth, healing, and restoration.  We often want our own way, our own wisdom.  Oh God, in Your mercy, let Your light penetrate and overcome the darkness we cling to.
